At Shentons we are able to advise you regarding Trusts. Whether you need a Trust for young children or for a vulnerable beneficiary of your Will or if you need advice as a beneficiary of a Trust, we can help.
Meet the Wills & Probate legal team
Most Trusts are not taxed very favourably and we can give you some general advice as to whether the Trust route is right for you, although you will likely need an accountant’s advice also. The Trust route may be right for you if you want to provide for education for your grandchildren, benefit a vulnerable or disabled beneficiary or ringfence funds for a future generation.
We can also help you understand existing trusts, retire and appoint Trustees and help you wind up a Trust.
Our Wills and Probate Department are a member of the Wills and Inheritance Quality Scheme and some of our Lawyers have additional, professional qualifications with STEP, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners which enables them to give specialist advice, bespoke to your matter.
