Liz Cookson brings 20 years of family law experience to our Shentons’ Family Team. She advises clients on every stage of separation and divorce, from straightforward matters to high value financial cases involving significant assets, business interests and pensions.
Liz qualified as a Solicitor in 2009. She developed her practice in Kent and London before returning to her home city of Winchester, where her family has strong roots. Her father, Tommy Cookson (MBE), was Headmaster at Winchester College. Liz has longstanding connections and is proud to support families in the local community.
A member of Resolution, Liz adopts a constructive, solutions-focused approach to her work. Her clients appreciate her practical guidance, clear advice and her firm focus on achieving the best outcomes possible for her clients.
